National Hunting and Fishing Day is celebrating its Golden Anniversary Saturday, Sept. 25 - 50 years of honoring this nation's hunters and fishermen. Black Lake is a natural, glacier lake located in the northern part of New York 2 hours north of Syracuse that's 7,593 acres, 20 miles long by 3 1/2 miles at its widest point, over 60 miles of shoreline combined with numerous islands, with an average depth of 8 feet and a maximum depth of 40 feet at an elevation of 272 feet.
